Municipal Executive
The new Breda bench of Alderpersons was inaugurated in May 2010 during a city council meeting. The new bench comprises members of four political parties: the VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy), CDA (Christian Democrat Party), D66 (Democrats 66) and Groen Links (Green Left).
The city council have accepted a governance policy for 2010 to 2014 entitled ' @ Breda' . It will be the bench's responsibility to implement this policy for the next four years.
The new bench for this term consists of five alderpersons. The VVD has selected Albert Arbouw and Cees Meeuwis, the CDA representative is Bob Bergkamp. D66 has selected Saskia Boelema en the Groen Links respresentative is Wilbert Willems. PvdA member Peter van der Velden is the Mayor of Breda.
